Lightelligence is an MIT-spinoff company working on next-generation AI hardware. Ligthtelligence builds optical chips that offer orders of magnitude improvement in terms of high speed, low latency, and low power consumption compared to traditional electronic architectures.

Andy Yan joined SAIF in October 2001 and heads SAIF as the Managing Partner. Prior to joining SAIF, Mr. Yan was the Managing Director & Head of Hong Kong Office of Emerging Markets Partnership which is the Principal Advisor to AIG Asian Infrastructure Funds. His career also spans his work as an Economist with The World Bank - Policy, Planning, and Research Division and he was a Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute Washington, D.C. as well as a Research Fellow at the State Commission for Economic Restructuring of the State Council of China. SAIF Partners is a leading private equity firm that provides primarily growth capital to companies in China or companies with significant operations or business in China.

 Dr. Qichao Hu is the founder and CEO of SolidEnergy Systems. He obtained his BS in physics from MIT in 2007, Ph.D. in applied physics from Harvard in 2012. SolidEnergy Systems, focusing on the development and commercialization of solid state Li metal battery, has secured $80 million funding, and has become a star company in energy storage sector. SolidEnergy Systems has won many awards, including first place in MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition’s Accelerator Contest, finalist of MIT Clean Energy Prize, and the second place in the DOE Clean Energy Prize held in the White House. Dr. Hu has been recognized by the  MIT TR35 list and Forbes 30 under 30.

Feng focuses on E-commerce, Fintech, online education, new generation lifestyle businesses and O2O enterprises.

Previously as a partner at IDG-Accel, he led investments on a series of successful projects, including CreditEase, Zhubajie, Prosper, Three Squirrels, Tongbanjie, Didapinche, Bilibili, Coinbase, Changingedu, Dig Fortune, Helijia, Wangli Finance Group, Yodo Fortune, FraudMetrix, Liulishuo, Ripple Labs, Wecash, Jiang Xiaobai, Hstyle, baifendian, and bairong. 

Sinovation Ventures is an established Chinese technology-savvy investment firm, started in 2009 by a team led by Dr. Kai-Fu Lee, with presence in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Seattle and Silicon Valley. Sinovation Ventures currently manage an over $2B AUM between seven USD and RMB funds in total, and over 300 portfolio companies across the technology spectrum in China and the U.S.

Hesai is a sensing technology company that develops LiDAR solutions for autonomous driving cars, natural gas leak detection and surveillance systems. Hesai's headquarters is located in Shanghai, China. Yifan Li is the Founder & CEO of Hesai.

Zheren Hu is the Co-founder and CTO of Liulishuo (NASDAQ: LAIX). LAIX Inc. is an artificial intelligence (AI) company in China that creates and delivers products and services to popularize English learning.

Eric Rosenblum has had a career spanning the US and China for over 25 years, and is currently a Managing Partner with Tsingyuan Ventures, investing in early stage technologies spanning China and the US. Tsingyuan Ventures is a technology-focused venture fund based in Los Altos, California. Most recently, Eric led product management for several major product lines at Palantir Technologies (including cyber security). 

In 2010, Brian Xin founded StarryMedia based in Shanghai, China. StarryMedia provides social marketing and e-commerce platforms and services to businesses and individuals in metro transportation, sports, hotels, travel, and local lifestyle sectors. The company focuses on emerging technologies to empower its platform and services, such as Blockchain, Big Data, and AI.

Gavin Nicol has been a technology leader and innovator for 25+ years working at corporate research centers in Japan, and corporations and startups in the US and the Netherlands. Through his work at EBT as a founding member of the W3C, he has broadly influenced many of the technologies underlying the modern web.
